| Trails Improve Recreation and Transportation When Brownsburg Parks surveyed the community, you told us Brownsburg needs more walking and biking trails. To accomplish that, we won $400,000 in grants to help us design and build two more miles of trails by the end of 2013. This funding helps the Town complete what would have been a multi-year project much quicker than originally scheduled without a significant blow to the budget or an increase in property taxes. When all the phases are complete, residents will be able to travel the trail system from both Ronald Regan Elementary School and the Brownsburg Public Library to the B&O Trail. | See the Town Events calendar! |
| VISION: The Vision for Brownsburg Parks is to provide the highest quality parks, recreation facilities and programs possible that the citizens desire and will support financially creating a community of choice to live, work and play now and for future generations. MISSION: Our mission is to maximize all available resources to deliver quality parks, recreation facilities and programs through effective partnerships with other service providers to help meet the quality of life expectations of Town residents, which builds community pride, and supports the economic goals of the community. We will measure our success by providing access and connections to trails, parks, sports and recreation facilities, both indoor and outdoor, that meet the needs of our citizens and visitors to our community. |
