Advisory Plan Commission - A seven member commission in charge of preparing a comprehensive plan, zoning ordinances, approving development plans as well as assigning street addresses. The Plan Commission is scheduled to meet the fourth Monday of every month at 6 p.m. 

Board of Police Commissioners - Made up of five members, including one town council member. The Police Commission is scheduled to meet the second Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m.

Board of Zoning Appeals - A five member board that deals with granting variances and special exceptions/ conditional uses, also handle appeals from administrative decisions. The Board of Zoning Appeals is scheduled to meet the second Monday of every month at 7 p.m.

Economic Development Commission - Made up of three members that promote and support quality economic development, to increase the number of quality jobs within the Town, to increase in non-resident share of the tax base as well as support current local businesses within the Town. The Economic Development Commission is scheduled to meet the third Wednesday of every month at 5 p.m. 

Park Board - Made up of six members that are committed to serving citizens by providing quality parks, recreation facilities, and programs, thereby ensuring that the Town continues to be a livable place where all citizens can enjoy a wide range of leisure and recreational opportunities. The Park Board is scheduled to meet the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m.

Redevelopment Authority - Three member board organized for the following purposes; financing, constructing and leasing local public improvements to the Commission and/or owned by the Authority and leasing them to the Commission; to acquire all or a portion of local public improvements owned by the Authority and leasing them to the Commission. The Redevelopment Authority only meets as they are called. 

Redevelopment Commission -  Made up of six members that promote a positive town image through well designed, high quality development; assist with planning and development of businesses in designated areas within the Town; secure comfortable quality of life for residents; as well as aid in the elimination of inappropriate land use. The Redevelopment Commission is scheduled to meet the first Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m.

Impact Fee Review Board - Three citizen member board hears appeals from developers and builders relative to Impact Fees assessed to their proposed development for infrastructure identified in the Town of Brownsburg Zone Improvement Plan. 

Brownsburg Improvement Committee- The Brownsburg Improvement Committee is organized to promote the social welfare interests of the Town of Brownsburg community through the preservation, protection and redevelopment of Brownsburg's traditional downtown area.
