Mission

The mission of the Community Engagement Department is to build relationships with our various audiences that lead to trust in the Town of Brownsburg leadership and decision-making. 

What We Do

Staff uses a variety of communication tools to share Town news with residents, business owners, visitors, and potential residents or business owners. These tools include:
  • Social media sites on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • This website A blog posted to this website 
  • Two e-newsletters (one for staff and "The Hub" for Brownsburg Parks updates)
  • A quarterly newsletter that is mailed to all homes in 46112
  • An annual report published each spring
  • Flyers and brochures
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Annual presentations to the Town Council

The Department assists other Town departments in meeting their communications goals by creating brochures, flyers, and PowerPoints, working with staff on clear messaging to the public, and in any other ways requested.
