Leaf Pick-Up Begins Oct. 4

Fall leaves on the ground

Our leaf pick-up process has changed this year in order to save resources and taxpayer dollars.

Pickups will be weekly beginning October 4

  • Leaves should be placed in a recyclable brown bag with the top taped shut - not stapled. Leaves in plastic bags will not be picked up, even if you place the plastic bag in a recyclable bag.
  • Keep leaf bags separate from your trash pickup. Please do not add trash, mud, grass clippings, mulch, animal waste, etc. with your leaves. Have bags outside by 6 am on the date of pickup.

The service is offered to residents in Town limits only.

Collection

Residents can schedule their limb pick-up through our online form

You will not receive a confirmation message for your limb pick-up.

Requests submitted Friday through Sunday will be scheduled for the following week, not the upcoming week. No pickups on federal holidays. Requests may take up to two weeks to complete.

The truck cannot operate during rain. When it rains, your pick-up will be rescheduled to the following week. You do not need to call for this reschedule, it will be done automatically.

Please do not submit this form more than once per household.

Route Schedule

Our truck visits the northside (north of Main St./US 136) and the southside (south of Main St./US 136) on alternating weeks. View the schedule below to see when the chipper truck will be visiting your side of town. Requests may take up to two weeks to complete.
