Thanks to Girl Scout Troop 985, pet parents can access a new pet pantry at Cardinal Park, the first in Brownsburg.
Girl Scouts Alexis and Shannon sold over 1,000 boxes of cookies to create the pet pantry as part of the Silver Award project. Similar to local blessing boxes, the pet pantry provides food, treats, and supplies to families in need. Pet parents can leave any donations they can spare and take what they need. The pet pantry had a successful opening day, with generous donations from residents and local organizations.
