Does the Utility Department accept payment arrangements?: The Utility Department will work with customers who are having problems paying their bill. You must call and make arrangements before the due date. Arrangements need to be reasonable, so that the account does not get too high or too old. Once the water has been shut off, it is too late to make arrangements.

1. Whom do I call for a utility billing issue?: Contact the Utility Billing Office at 317-852-1102. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.

2. Whom do I contact if my water is discolored?: Contact the Utility Department at 317-852-1102, a work order will be created for the Water Field Office.

3. How do I activate current or new utility services for my home or apartment?: We will need a copy of your driver's license, a copy of your lease agreement (if renting), and a meter deposit is required. The Utility Application is a available online and also is available at the Utility Office.

5. When is the due date for utility bills?: Bills are due on or before the 17th of each month.

6. How do I schedule a meter set?: Permits are required and fees must be paid prior to installation. Contact the Utility Department 24 hours prior to scheduling an appointment. A water meter deposit is required before an appointment can be scheduled.

7. Where is the Utility Department located?: Our office is located inside of the Town Hall at 61 N Green Street, Brownsburg, IN 46112. We are happy to help you at our drive-up window located on the back of Town Hall off of Adams Street.

8. How do I pay my utility bill online?: Credit card payments can be made online through a third party, Official Payments. There is an additional $4.95 processing fee. The Town of Brownsburg does not receive any portion of the service fee. Visit Brownsburg Utility to set up an account.

9. Whom do I contact if I have low water pressure?: Contact the Utility Department at 317-852-1102, a work order will be created for the Water Field Office.
