Farmers Market

The Brownsburg Farmers Market presented by IU Health West Hospital will celebrate its 10th anniversary on the Town Hall Green this summer. The market offers locally grown produce, eggs and meat, artisan baked goods, handcrafted items and more from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursdays, June 6 through September 5.

Brownsburg Kiwanis Club will help kick off the market season with a strawberry shortcake sale on opening day June 6. Kids can make their own market shopping bag at the POP Club tent. Shoppers are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs, or grab a seat at a picnic table to enjoy dinner from the Brozinni Pizzeria and Chomp’z food trucks. The Emily Ann Thompson Jazz Quartet will provide live entertainment on stage. Regular market shoppers will remember Emily Ann’s celtic fiddle and violin performances from the past few seasons.

Children can enjoy the POP (Power of Produce) Kids Club activities organized by the Brownsburg Public Library. Each week while school is out for the summer the POP Club tent will offer fun activities designed to connect kids with fresh food and their health. Food trucks and live music also return as weekly features.

The Brownsburg Farmers Market is WIC and SNAP certified. Families who receive SNAP benefits can purchase healthy and locally-produced fresh items with their vouchers. The Brownsburg Bucks matching program doubles up to $20 for SNAP participants to spend on locally grown produce at the market.
