Friday Fest is coming back to the Brownsburg Town Hall Green to celebrate the last day of school on May 31.  The family-friendly festival will offer action-packed carnival games, an inflatables playground, henna artist, food trucks, and a live concert from 4-8 pm.

Friday Fest 2019Festival-goers of all ages will enjoy the quad bungee trampoline, that safely propels jumpers up to 24 feet in the air.  A slide and combination bounce house will let kids have another option for bouncing fun, and toddlers can enjoy the Toddler Town inflatable.

A “super” bubble station will be set up on the lawn to let guests make big, soapy bubbles, a favorite summer pastime, and an adult tricycle racecourse will be available for those with a need for speed. Fun games include giant Connect 4 and giant Jenga and the chicken flinger, which involves stomping a catapult to get a rubber chicken in the pot.  Guests can also visit the Town of Brownsburg tent for a chance to spin the prize wheel.

Henna artist, DITS Henna, will offer hand drawn henna artwork.  Food Truck Brozinni Pizzeria will be selling pizza by the slice and its famous garlic knots.  Chomp’z Truck will be serving up a selection of gourmet tacos and nachos.  Boxburger Truck will be grilling up Black Angus Beef bugers with dozens of toppings, served with hand cut fries.  Visit Lazy J’s for freshly popped kettle corn, caramel corn, and pork rinds, all washed down with a lemon shakeup.  Local favorite The Ice Barn will be making shaved ice treats in a variety of fun flavors.

Enjoy live music on the stage during the event by DJ Fly Ty and multi-genre Indianapolis groups Audiodacity and Carmichael. DJ Fly Ty Simmons will get the show started, followed by Carmichael, a five-piece band from Indianapolis who released a new album this month titled “Memories Are Rolling Credits.” Audiodacity, whose six members incorporate funk, rock, hip-hop, latin, jazz, reggae, R&B, blues and even dubstep into their sound will headline the concert.

DECA Marketing Club from Brownsburg High School will be working with Town staff to promote the event. The free, all-ages event will be a great way to celebrate the last day of school and kick start summer. Look for Friday Fest details on the Facebook event page.
